Enfield (Lee-Enfield) No.4 Mk 2, 303 British

Up for sale is a Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk 2 chambered in 303 British. The Mk 2 was the last Lee-Enfield variant made in England. It was adopted in 1949 and built only at ROF Fazakerley until 1955. It improved on the wartime No.4 Mk 1 with a trigger pinned directly to the receiver instead of the trigger guard, which gives a more consistent pull. It also has a better-finished walnut or beech stock, a free-floating barrel, and an elevation-adjustable leaf rear sight. This is a good example of a post-war British service rifle and a solid shooter.
